I burn with love, and I can’t write a
Word, fluttering vaguely down like crumpled
Pastel paper, upon which is scrawled,
In a hurried and voluminous hand
Glittering lakes of pink and saffron, tinged
With soft embraces and sweet douceurs
As lately fallen, crimson leaves.
